🏠 Our Vision 🏑
Of The Sundance Eco Project

We always wanted to build an eco house.Natural building materials, a perma cultur garden, fresh spring water, a salt water pool and the view of the the pacific ocean.

That was a dream for the longest time. This dream finally came true in 2018, when we finished this dream house filled with artistic, natural art, and an open building style, that does make you feel, as you are sitting right inside the beautiful nature of Costa Rica. Our vision from the very beginning was to design a home  where the border between house and nature, between inside and outside is no longer clear. We wanted to create a feeling as if you are surrounded by nature, even inside the house, and feel at home even outside on the patio or the garden.
We supported that vision, not only with the design, but also using as little as possible concrete and steel, which is what most houses in Costa Rica are build from.

VIDEOS ABOUT OUR ECO-FRIENDLY DREAM HOUSE
This was our first night in no rental, no AirBnB, no hotel, no Tent...
We slept in our own house and celebrated the first few nights together as a family on our own property.

Here in Costa Rica we struggle with earthquakes very often throughout the year. This is how we protect our house from it.
Today, I am sharing with you, how we envision our bathroom to look like. It's gonna be about a tropical open-air shower, round river rocks as a wall, natural tiles, and such things...

ABOUT SAMARA BEACH
"One of the safest and prettiest beaches in the country is Playa Samara...."
Lonely Planet - Destination Costa Rica: Off the Beaten Track

"Playa Samara is the perfect long white sand beach with shallow, gentle waters."
The Key to Costa Rica

Samara has a superb coral reef and its own picturesque wooded island in the bay ~ Isla Chora. It's popular with swimmers and windsurfers, and it's an ideal beach for your kids.
Samara is not only a charming beach resort, with a wide choice of friendly and attractive hotels, restaurants, bars and discos, but, unlike other Pacific Ocean resorts, it is also a thriving fishing and farming community.
There are cowboys and cattle drives, fishing boats returning at sunset, exotic fruit harvests, specialty and organic farming, tree nurseries and reforestation projects and many other authentic and vital SΓ‘mara activities. There are unusual plant and animal species, ancient Indian sites, underwater caves and coastal and mountain nature trails.
Guitar, Spanish, aerobic and dancing lessons and massages are available. And there is even a SΓ‘mara art gallery with its own resident artist.
